Tizz holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut, a Bachelor of arts in Organizational Communication from the University of Hartford and an Associate in Art from Hartford College for Women. Tizz has been the honorary chair for AFC’s Sparkling Celebration for several years and she previously served on AFC’s Honorary Board. Tizz lives in South Windsor with her husband, Dana, and their two daughters, Maria and Alexa.

Marc Natrillo, Vice President, Treasurer

Marc has over 20 years of insurance experience. He received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from WPI and his MBA from Quinnipiac University. Marc previously served on the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of CT and is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. He is a Connecticut native having grown up in West Haven and is currently residing in Avon with his wife Sara and two sons, Alex and Matthew who is on the Autism spectrum.

Leah (Bailey) Moon, Secretary, Co-Founder

Leah was most recently the Executive Director of the Boston Globe Foundation, where she developed innovative community initiatives in the city of Boston. During her career, she worked in corporate philanthropy and community affairs for 23 years, including positions at United Technologies Corporation and Fleet Bank in Hartford.   She received her BA from Boston College and an MBA from Western New England University. Her new mission is to build the nonprofit Autism Families CONNECTicut. Since her grandson Jack’s diagnosis on the autism spectrum in 2006, Leah has attended several conferences and workshops on autism, volunteered for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, and led an Autism Update Conference session on “Grandparents and Extended Family – How Can We Help?” in 2009. She was asked to address the Massachusetts Autism Awareness Day at the Statehouse in April 2009 on behalf of families affected by autism. She is the Founding Board President of AFC.

Jim Procaccini

Jim has been a resident of West Hartford since 1972. While raising four children with his wife Joyce, Jim was actively involved in youth sports programs. In 1983, he was instrumental in starting the West Hartford Girls’ Softball League. There, he served in roles as coach and all administration positions including President for 6 years, retiring in 2013. Jim was also instrumental in acquiring the State of Connecticut UConn property in West Hartford and receiving a $1,000,000 grant for the development of ball fields. Today there lies the West Hartford Little League complex including the Miracle League baseball field serving special needs children. Jim’s grandson Phoenix had his own team in the Walk Now for Autism Speaks annual fundraiser and his annual Phoenix Fund raises money for recreational programs at AFC. Jim brings a lifelong commitment to building community through sports and recreation, family activities, and volunteering to the AFC Board.
